Common questions

The app can't find where my photos were taken

Photos only carry a location if Location Services was on for the Camera when they were taken. Photos saved from messaging apps or social media often have it removed. You can still make the memory and set places by hand.

Some places are wrong or should be one stop

Open the memory, tap Places, then rename, split, merge or move them. Corrections are remembered across your atlas.

How do I restore Pro on a new iPhone?

Open the Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → mapped days. Your memories stay either way.

Are my memories backed up?

Memories are stored inside the app on your iPhone and are included in iCloud or computer backups if app data is part of your backup settings. Deleting the app deletes them.
